Mangaluru, Apr 11: The Tulu film ‘90 ML’, produced by Dolphy D’Souza under the banner of DD Productions and directed by Ranjith C Bajal, was released on Friday at Bharath Cinemas. The film was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijaya of Benjanapadavu Koragajja Kshetra said that it is encouraging to see quality films being released in Tulu. He expressed hope that ‘90 ML’ would reach the hearts of Tulu audiences and wished success to the entire team.
Producer Prakash Pandeshwar, who also spoke at the event, said he had watched the trailer and found it similar in style to a Malayalam film. He added that the title was impressive and wished the team success.
Lanchulal K S said that the title ‘90 ML’ is unique and expressed confidence that the film would succeed if Tulu audiences support it. Actor Arjun Dev remarked that while ‘90 ML’ should remain distant from real life, the film should stay close to audiences, and wished the team great success.
Producer Dolphy D’Souza, Swaraj Shetty, Siddharth, Trishul Shetty, Anand Kumpala, Jagannath Shetty Bala, Mohan Koppal, Vineeth Kumar, Ruhani Shetty, Roshan Shetty, Shailashree, Dhrithi, director Ranjith C Bajal, Tulasidas Mangeshwar and others were present at the event. The programme was compered by VJ Madhuraj.
About the film, ‘90 ML’ has been released in Mangaluru, Udupi, Puttur, Beltangady, Padubidri, Surathkal, Karkala, Deralakatte and other places. The film has been shot in various locations across Dakshina Kannada district.
The film stars Vineeth Kumar, Ruhani Shetty, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Roshan Shetty, Umesh Mijar, Deepak Rai Panaje, Pushparaj Bollaru, Namita, Shailashree and Dhrithi.
Ranjith C Bajal has handled the story, screenplay and direction, while dialogues are by Tulasidas Mangeshwar. Cinematography is by Arjun MV, music by Srujan Kumar Tonse, editing by Sachin Ram, and design by Acharya Guru.
‘90 ML’ is a Tulu film that blends comedy and entertainment with a story suited to the tastes of the audience.
