Mangaluru: 29-year-old two-wheeler rider killed in tipper lorry collision

Mangaluru, Apr 12: A 29-year-old man lost his life in a tragic road accident after a tipper lorry collided with his two-wheeler on the Nanthoor-Pumpwell service road on National Highway 66 on Saturday night.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal (29).

According to sources, the impact of the collision was so severe that Gopal died on the spot. It is gathered that he was a resident of Mulihihtlu and was employed at a bakery in Gurupura.

The accident also involved another two-wheeler, which sustained damage. The rider of the second vehicle reportedly sustained injuries in the mishap.

Mangaluru traffic police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
