Oman: DKSC, All Ihsan Education Centre Hold Milad-un-Nabi

Oman, Mar 8: Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre and Al Ihsan Education Centre (R) Moolur, Udupi district recently held Milad-un-nabi programme, here.

A day long function was attended by as many as 500 guests from the Muslim community of Dakshina Karnataka.

The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Master Mohsin Monabba. Syed Mohiddin Sastan welcomed the gathering and thanked all the dignitaries and chief guests on accepting invitation and attending the function with their family members.

Moidin Abubakker Padubidri briefed the objectives and activities of Al Ihsan Education Centre (R) Moolur and DKSC OMAN in serving the Muslim community in the field of professional and religious education for children, men, women, orphans and other socio-cultural responsibilities.

A variety of Islamic programmes were also conducted for the children, adults including ladies. It was a good opportunity for the people present in the gathering to show their various flairs and talents through their participation in several events.

The main highlights of the programme were Qiraath, Naath, speech, coloring competition, memory test for kids and children. Essay writing competition on Hazrath Zainab Bint Jahsh (RA) and memory test for ladies, Qiraath competition for Men, separate open quiz competition for children, men and women. Quiz competition was organized and conducted by Ashraf Bawa Mangalore, Anwar Hussain Mangalore, Riyaz Ahmed Basrur and Master Mohsin Monabba Yermal.

The events were judged by religious scholars and academics. Anwar Hussain Mangalore compiled and announced the results of the winners.

All the winners of the competition were honoured with glittering trophies and participants with consolation prizes.

President of DKSC Oman Monabba Abdul Rahman Yermal felicitated the following young talents of the community for their outstanding achievements. Mughis Juned Mangalore was felicitated for representing Oman National Cricket team, Sania Noor Mangalore and Master Mohsin Monabba Yermal, both for representing Indian Schools in Oman at All India Schools Athletics Championship held at Meerat, India, Shukoor Kazi, captain, SKMWA team for winning Muscat Cricket Tournament conducted by Mangalore Friends Muscat.

Iqbal Omar Yermal, general secretary, DKSC Oman delivered the vote of thanks to all the sponsors, scholars, judges, guests, participants and volunteers for their kind support and cooperation.

Syed Mohiddin Sastan and Riyaz Ahmed Basrur compered the programme.

    Alhamdullilah. It was a great effort of each and every members of DKSC to bring the success of Milad-un-nabi. Alhamdullillah very good sunnah and we have celeberate every year. All south Kanara brothers supported without any hesitation and brought these events to desire. Almighty allah subhanawatala give lots of strength to DKSC to organize program every year with full fledge. We all thankful to Daiji world for a wonderful coverage of the events

    SubhanAllah. Nice programm. Very Good to see that Muslim Brothers staying in Gulf, far away from their hometown, conducting such programms.     Al hamdulillah. Good program. it was a Team Work. Full support and co-operation from members,participants,well wishers. Such program gives opportunities to the young generations to participate & perform their talents. Parents should take more initiative to involve. Such programs brings UNITY,BROTHERHOOD
