Protest intensifies against Parsekar Foods, villagers hold torch rally

Daijiworld Media Network – Palaskatta

Palaskatta, Apr 15: Residents of Palaskatta have intensified their agitation against Parsekar Foods by organising a public meeting and a mashal (torchlight) rally, voicing strong opposition to the functioning of the unit.

The protest has now entered its 12th day, with participation steadily increasing as villagers demand the relocation of the facility from the IDC plot.

Locals alleged that the unit is causing significant inconvenience in the area and urged authorities to take immediate action to shift the facility. They maintained that their concerns have remained unaddressed despite repeated appeals.

Protesters also warned that the agitation would be further intensified if their demand to relocate the unit is not met at the earliest.
