Mangaluru: Mount Carmel students shine in CBSE Grade X board results

Mangaluru, Apr 17: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, proudly upholds its tradition of academic distinction as its Grade X students deliver an outstanding performance in the CBSE Board Examinations 2026. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the perseverance and dedication of the 188 students who appeared for the examination.

A significant number of students have excelled across top score brackets: 25 students secured above 95%; 45 students achieved between 90–95%; 58 students scored between 80–89%; 39 students were placed in the 70–79% range, while 19 students secured marks between 60–69%, and 2 students between 50–59%.

Leading the cohort of 2025–26 is Manav Menon with an exceptional 99.6% (498/500), followed closely by Akshaya Prashanth with 98.4% (492/500) and Anbu Narender Bala securing third place with 97.8% (489/500). In a truly extraordinary feat, Manav Menon has set a benchmark of excellence by scoring a perfect 100 in four subjects – Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Further adding to the school’s pride, Avanthi Prasad, Navita Anna Rego and Mahanya Anchan secured 100 in English; Samanvitha S Alva achieved 100 in Hindi, while Akshaya Prashanth, Anbu Narender Bala, Avanthi Prasad, Amarthya Bekal Halahalli, Angel Rose Fernandes, Aidan Lawrence D’Souza, Grace Olivia D’Silva, Jinelle Juanna Pinto and Mahendra Vasanth attained full marks in Artificial Intelligence. Several other students also distinguished themselves with outstanding scores of 99 and 98 in various subjects.

The school management, principal, staff, parents and students wholeheartedly congratulate the toppers and all the students of Grade X on their exemplary achievement and extend their best wishes for their future endeavours.

With CBSE introducing two board examinations from this year, the results are subject to revision after the second examination in May 2026.
