KSRTC flags off 'Pallakki' non-AC sleeper service on Mangaluru – Mantralayam route

Mangaluru, Apr 17: In a significant upgrade to intercity travel facilities, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched its upgraded ‘Pallakki’ Non-AC sleeper service on the Mangaluru – Mantralayam route, aimed at enhancing long-distance passenger comfort.

The service was formally flagged off on Friday, April 17 at 4 pm in Mangaluru. The inauguration ceremony was held near the Mahaganapathi Temple at the Mangaluru Bus Stand and commenced with traditional rituals and prayers, marking an auspicious beginning to the upgraded operation.

The service was flagged off by Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, who inaugurated the newly upgraded bus service.

Officials stated that the ‘Pallakki’ sleeper service has been introduced to provide improved comfort and convenience for passengers travelling on this important route connecting Mangaluru with the pilgrimage town of Mantralayam.
