Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Devdas Na Leela’ released with grand ceremony at Bharath Cinemas

Mangaluru, Apr 24: The much-awaited Tulu film ‘Devdas Na Leela’ was released with great enthusiasm on Friday, April 24, at Bharath Cinemas. A large gathering of cinema lovers attended the first-day, first-show screening.

Produced under the Jayanthi Productions banner and directed by Tejesh Poojary, the film features a strong cast including Nandan Mallya, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Prakash Pandeshwar, and Mohan Koppala. The technical and supporting team includes art director Thamma Laxman, Pramod Alva, Jagannath Shetty Bala, Jayanthi Poojary, Mahesh Poojary, Elton Jeff, Sadashiva Amin, Arjun Kapikad, and Devdas Kapikad.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Actors, their family members, friends, and fans gathered in large numbers to witness the launch, showcasing strong community support for Tulu cinema.

Addressing the gathering, Devdas Kapikad expressed his happiness over the film’s release and thanked the public for their continued support. He encouraged audiences to watch and promote regional films, emphasizing that such patronage is vital for the growth of the Tulu film industry. Several other guests also conveyed their best wishes and congratulated the team on the successful launch.
