MRPL posts sharp rise in annual profit; board approves FY26 results

Mangaluru, Apr 24: The board of directors of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary company of ONGC and Schedule “A” Mini Ratna Category I Company during its 274th meeting held on April 24 approved it’s standalone and consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter (Q4 FY 2025-26) and Year (FY 2025-26) ended March 31, 2026.

Financial highlights for the fourth quarter Q4 FY 2025-26 (Q4 FY 2024-25):

• Revenue from operations Rs 28,493 Crore (Q4 FY 2024-25 Rs 27,602 crore).
• Profit before Tax Rs 1,235 Crore (Q4 FY 2024-25 Profit before Tax Rs 584 crore).
• Profit after Tax of Rs 119 Crore (Q4 FY 2024-25 Profit after Tax Rs 363 crore).

Financial highlights for the year ended FY 2025-26 (FY 2024-25):

• Revenue from operations Rs 1,05,155 crore (FY 2024-25 Rs 1,09,280 crore).
• Profit before Tax Rs 4,022 crore (FY 2024-25 Profit before Tax Rs 113 crore).
• Profit after Tax of Rs 1,931 Crore (FY 2024-25 Profit after Tax Rs 51 crore).

Physical performance:

• Devangonthi Marketing Terminal – now fully operational, enhancing inland market access.
• Commissioned 85 new Retail Outlets in the financial year taking the total to 252.

Financial performance:

Note 1: GRM for the year FY 2025-26 was $ 9.22 / bbl (FY 2024-25 $ 4.45 / bbl)

Awards and recognition:

MRPL won FIPI Innovator of the Year (2025) – Recognised for sustained excellence in Refining Innovation and Indigenous Technological Development. The award was presented by Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Minister for of Petroleum and Natural Gas, during the India Energy Week.
