Bengaluru, Apr 25: Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a five-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in an IPL match.
Chasing a target of 206 runs, RCB successfully overhauled the total in 18.5 overs. The chase was anchored by Virat Kohli, who scored 81 runs, and Devdutt Padikkal, who contributed a quickfire 55. The pair stitched together a crucial 115-run partnership for the third wicket, putting the game firmly in RCB’s control.
For Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan picked up two wickets, while Mohammed Siraj, Jason Holder and Manav Suthar took one wicket each.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans posted 205 for three after being put in to bat, with opener Sai Sudharsan scoring a century. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma picked up a wicket each.
RCB had won the toss and elected to bowl first.
In today’s fixtures, Delhi Capitals will take on Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from 3:30 pm IST.
In another match, Rajasthan Royals will face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium from 7:30 pm IST.
