Department of public instruction, government of Karnataka has honored the college with a plaque for securing a 100% result in the II PU Board Examinations 2018. Boscoss Pre-University College is the first college in Mangaluru to secure 100% with its very first batch. Out of the 59 students, 57 scored either distinction or first class.
Prof S S Bosco – The Founder
Prof S S Bosco is an outstanding teacher and competitive exams trainer who has served as a professor of mathematics for 35 years at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru. His text books and entrance exam books in Mathematics for PU courses are the most sought after resource material in the state. His unique teaching style along with the quality of his books, has made him immensely popular among science students and parents.
His journey in moulding the young generation continued with ‘Boscoss Tutorials’ at Kodialbail, Mangaluru. This institute ensured PU science students not only achieved higher scores in the board annual examinations but also secured top ranks in CET / COMED-K / JEE-M / NEET, gaining admission to professional courses in premier educational institutions like IITs, BITS, NITs, RVCE, BMC, MMC and KMC.
