Tulu film ‘Bana’ releases vibrant video song ‘Jide Nage’ celebrating coastal culture

Mangaluru, Apr 28: The makers of the Tulu movie ‘Bana’ have released the official video song ‘Jide Nage’, offering audiences a vibrant musical experience rooted in the rich cultural essence of coastal Karnataka.

Blending traditional Tulu flavours with a modern rhythmic touch, the song has quickly caught the attention of music lovers. The track features the powerful and iconic voice of Yakshadruva Patla Sathish Shetty, whose expertise in folk traditions adds a distinctive soul to the composition.

The song is composed, programmed, and arranged by Jaya Karthi, with lyrics penned by K K Pejavara. ‘Jide Nage’ stands as a celebration of local talent and storytelling. The film is produced under the banner of Ishi Productions, directed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli, and produced by Manohar Rai Vaipala. The music is released under Lahari Music.

Music credits include Indian percussion by Mani K Suresh, while group vocals are rendered by Megha Kotyan, Madhushree, Sakshi, Sathwica, Bhuvan, and Navam. Naga mantras have been performed by Kavyashree and Ashwini. The song has been mixed and mastered by Anoop Whiteland, with audio recording carried out at Saptak Studio, Mangaluru. Music production was handled by Sun Matrix Audio Lab, Mangaluru.

The film ‘Bana’ is written and directed by Nithin Rai Kukkuvalli. Cinematography is by Arun Rai Puttur, while editing is handled by Naveen Nerolthadi. Dialogue and screenplay are by Razak Puttur. Art direction is by Yatheesh Bettampady and Ganesh Keyyuru, with VFX by Shamanth Poojary, Mumbai, and DI by Kishore, Bangalore. Sound design and surround mix are by Anoop Whiteland.

Keerthan Shetty Sullia serves as associate director, with choreography by Raj Team RDC. Makeup is handled by Ram Neerkal, dubbing engineering by Chidanda Kadaba, and assistant direction by Keerthan Shetty Sullia.
