Bijapur: RTO Official Gets Drunk, Dances Nude in Office

Bijapur, Mar 10: A senior motor vehicle inspector attached to the regional transport office here moved around naked in the city after getting heavily drunk, on Friday March 9.
The official in question, named Kumar, who is from Bangalore, was unable to control himself when he reached the court complex as he was under the influence of alcohol. He removed his shirt, and started dancing awkwardly. The people then called the police.
By the time policemen came, the official had reached the regional transport office where he worked, removed all his clothes, and had started shouting and creating ruckus. The policemen then took him away to Gandhi Chowk police station. He also misbehaved with in-charge superintendent of police, F A Trasgar, and inspector, James, the policemen said.
Trasgar said that the official was mentally disturbed as he had a fight with his wife since the last two days. He said this information was given by the official’s family members, and as such, no case was registered against him.
