Mangalore, Mar 10: A large vessel carrying a load of boulders from Mangalore to Lakshadweep which had reportedly been missing since seven days, has been located.

The vessel was spotted about nautical miles off Beypore Port, Calicut off the Kerala coast.

This vessel was supposed to reach Lakshadweep and had left the coast here on Saturday March 3. There were six persons in the boat including Sharif, a resident of Bengre, and five Gujaratis. All are said to be safe.

The vessel belongs to Saleem of Kerala.

Though efforts had been made to communicate with sailors for over five days, they were futile. It was feared that the vessel may have sunk.
