Ponda, May 5: Police in Ponda have arrested the second accused in the killing of 58-year-old Deepak Naik, bringing a swift development in the case that shocked the local community.
The accused, 22-year-old Gaurish Naik from Borim, had been on the run after the incident on Sunday. He was tracked down and apprehended while hiding at his maternal aunt’s house in the remote Torla-Shiroda area.
