Mangaluru, May 5: In a significant step towards empowering students with international education opportunities, Global Degrees Mangalore was formally inaugurated through a meaningful and well-attended ceremony on Tuesday, May 5.

The initiative aims to introduce students to global academic pathways and provide comprehensive support in achieving their study-abroad aspirations. The event brought together academicians, well-wishers, and members of the education community, marking the beginning of a promising venture in the field of international education consultancy.

Dr Praveen Martis S J, vice chancellor of St Aloysius Deemed to be University, attended the event as the chief guest and extended his best wishes to the founders and team. Guests of honour included Dr Rosna Nazareth, registrar, and Dr Harish H K, director of ICAP at MIT Mangaluru campus. Several professors, family members, and supporters were also present to witness the occasion.

Dr Praveen Martis termed the inauguration a significant milestone and congratulated the founders and team for their efforts. He noted that with increasing global exposure and the entry of international universities into India, students today are keen to explore opportunities abroad.

Emphasizing that education goes beyond classrooms, he highlighted the importance of experiencing different cultures and global perspectives. He also pointed out that studying overseas involves complex processes like visa procedures, making expert guidance essential. Appreciating the initiative, he said such platforms play a crucial role in supporting students in their global education journey, while also encouraging them to eventually contribute to India’s growth.

Global Degrees Mangalore has established partnerships with over 500 international institutions, offering students opportunities to pursue higher education in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, France, Dubai, and Japan. With a reported 99.9% visa success rate, the consultancy emphasizes transparency, expert guidance, and reliable services through its expanding network.

The organization provides end-to-end services including career counselling, course and university selection, application and documentation assistance, test preparation, scholarship guidance, visa processing, and education loan support ensuring a smooth and structured journey for students.

Speaking on the occasion, co-founder Shijomon Yesudhas highlighted their vision, stating that every student carries a dream, and with the right guidance, it can be realized on a global platform. He emphasized that the launch is not just the opening of an office, but the beginning of shaping students’ futures.

Co-founder Deepa Prabhu, along with team members Sreeja and Shilpa, were introduced during the event.

The inauguration took place at A J Grand Hotel, Mangaluru, marking a new chapter for the consultancy under SDS 360 LLP. The organization operates from its office at Manasa Towers, M G Road, Mangaluru, and also extends its services in Manipal.
