Difficult for BJP to Come to Power in 2014: RSS

NEW DELHI, Mar 11 (PTI) : Holding that BJP is suffering from "Congress patch" in UP, the RSS has said it will be difficult for the saffron party, which has a "bigger army of leaders than workers" in the state, to come to power in 2014 Lok Sabha elections unless it answers the questions posed by assembly poll results.

In the editorials of its mouthpieces Organiser and Panchjanya, the Sangh asked the BJP as to why it could not be the choice for voters despite having an organised structure and cadre in the state.

"In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP will have to think about the bigger army of leaders than workers," it said.

The BJP has performed poorly in the elections and could manage only 47 seats -- four less than it secured in 2007 polls -- in the 403-member UP Assembly.

Asking the BJP to look into the election results, the RSS said, "Election results in UP have posed several questions and their solutions have to be found well in time otherwise 2014 general elections can become 'agneepath' (path of fire) for it and crossing it to reach the centre of power can prove to be difficult."

The RSS alleged that the BJP is suffering from "Congress patch" in the state and is disconnected from the people.

"In UP, the BJP too suffers from a Congress patch - disconnect with its voters. So, it has lost half of its vote share in the last one decade," it said.

"Core ideological issues, principled approach and credibility of leadership are needed to sway the voter. More than the party, the leader and more than the leader, his track record (performance) determines poll outcome these days," the editorial in The Organiser said.

The RSS said with the kind of casteist and communal politics dominating UP, the BJP's weakening there will strengthen the fundamentalist forces as has been proven by the elections.

Paddu, don't day dream. A terrorist can not be a PM. According to me there is no difference between Osama Bin Laden and butcher Modi. However, Bin Laden did not kill his own people, but, your Modi is responsible for killing people of his own country. Like third class coward they killed innocent, unharmed women, infants and aged people which is certainly against the principles of our great Sanathana Dharma. Down with terrorist Modi.

    The electorate of India lost
confidence in all the mega national
parties due to their lack of
concern for the people. These parties are simply operated
like a corporation for the benefit
    of the leadership besides the
massive national looting and corruption in all the parties have
planted shock waves in the hearts of the electorate. Now the trend
is advancing in the direction of
    electing state political party
    candidates.

RSS observations are correct. Even congress has similar concerns, bcz of corruption issues of Raja n Kalmadi. Inflation is not bcz of congress failure. It's bcz of allround corruption at centre and at all states. With black money property prices are going high. Commodity prices are high. Common man cannot afford to buy but corrupt people don't care of prices. Congress need to present a good budget this year. Increase in crude oil is major concern. Common public do not understand global changes, they keep on grumbling at central govt. Other than few scandals n inflation, congres has given good governance. Congres has brighter chances than BJP. You can put it this way.
If rahul had not campaigned in UP congress wouldn't have got even 10 seats. May be because of Rahul they got some what better numbers. Nobody is willing to say that but I feel so. Like Akilesh Yadav even I see lot of honesty in his face eventhough i am not a supporter of him. BJP supporters hate him only because his mother is from Italy. Very strange.

When I assessed aftermath of Assembly elections, particularly about UP and Punjab....Sharth,Neeraj,Dinesh,...Shetty, all made fun of me still going on by other Sanghparivar supporters. It is absolutely correct statement by RSS.UP's present election again shows in the seats of BJP and even did not cross 50 mark? A serious question for party like BJP has to introspect.Where as Congress had no stake and still it improved it's tally list but not as expected plus Rahul Gandhi's influence.Again in Panjab it lost more seat than earlier where as Congress again increased it's tally but ran short of forming Govt!

Third front gaining momentum plus regional Parties are increasing their influence in the regional or national politics a trend never before.Let us wait for President election and Budget Session of Parliament which can disclose where India's political scenarios heading for...

On one hand Congress not winning the election and on the other side BJP not even capable of dreaming a win it only celebrates defeat of Congress. It is very clear next PM be not from either of this party. If in next general election Samajvadi Party wins around 40-50 seat in UP Mulayamji going to be become the Prime Minister of coalition government. I hope that day will come very soon.

If BJP shuns it communual and devisive agenda, abstain from instigating communual tension, attacks of places of worship, spreading hatred, it will not prosper. They should shed off their "political hindutva" and embrace "Vedic Hindutva". Vedic hidutva emphasises the welfare of humans as its said "sarvo jana sukhino bhavantu". Before criticising other political parties of malpractices and corruption, it should do an introspection within its members. BJP has created history in karnataka by giving birth to pornogate. Congress is appeasing minorities where as BJP is appeasing majorities and protecting the caste system and systematically guarding the "brahmin supremacy".

No one in this country would like to live in insecurity, uncertainity and fear. We dont want to lose the freedom gained in 1947 to these communual forces. In its agenda, dalits are born in lower cadre and they dont have the right to honoured and respectable living. For them mutts, temples and sanskrit learned purohits are more important than the common man. They dont treat Indian muslims, christians as native Indians and rather consider them as foreigners and their enemies.

The hold present day muslims and christians repsonsible for the rulings of pre independence muslim and christian rulers and they want to take revenge on their own countrymen but of course from other faiths. BJP has already earned God's wrath and its on its final journery. "They plan and We too plan but We are master of all planners" - Holy Quran. India belongs to all Indians irrespective of their faiths and beliefs. No one can deny Indian citizen of his birth right of being called as an Indian. Ever since BJP is formed, it has negatively contributed to the social fabrics of our society by spreading venom, hatred and devision. RSS and its parivar is creating havoc in once peaceful society in the name of protecting culture and Indianess whilst practicing double standards at every level of its action. Sorry guys, your end is ievitable.
