Mangaluru, May 12: High school students from Mangaluru and surrounding regions are set to witness one of the biggest academic television competitions of the year as SIERRA Learning Academy officially announces the launch of SIERRA QUIZ CONTEST 2026 this June.
Designed as a grand studio-based television quiz championship, the event aims to provide students with a unique platform to showcase their intelligence, confidence, teamwork, and competitive spirit in a real quiz-show environment. The quiz show will be aired on Daijiworld TV, giving participants a rare opportunity to represent their schools on television.

According to the organizers, SIERRA QUIZ CONTEST 2026, carrying the tagline, ‘Where Knowledge Becomes Your Identity’, is more than just another school-level competition. The championship is structured to recreate a professional television quiz show experience with buzzers, rapid-fire rounds, quiz masters, live studio setups, and high-pressure championship moments that challenge participants academically and mentally.
The competition is open exclusively to high school students. Participants must register in teams of two students from the same school and appear in their school uniforms. Schools are also permitted to send multiple teams, encouraging wider student participation and healthy academic competition.
The event will progress through multiple stages, including Preliminary Rounds, Semi-Finals, and the much-anticipated Grand Finale, where the top-performing teams will compete for the championship title.
One of the major highlights of the competition is the prize pool. The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the runner-up team will be awarded Rs 10,000. Organizers have also announced exciting prizes and surprises for participants, along with participation certificates for every contestant taking part in the championship.
Registrations for the contest can be completed through the official QR code provided in the promotional materials. Schools, students, and even parents are allowed to complete registrations on behalf of students, provided all eligibility criteria and competition guidelines are followed.
The participation fee for the event has been fixed at Rs 899 per student.
Organizers believe the initiative will encourage students to build confidence, improve general knowledge, and experience academic competitions beyond conventional classroom formats. By combining education with the excitement of television entertainment, the championship aims to create an engaging learning experience for young participants.
