South Indian multi-lingual star Bhavana will join national Congress party on Tuesday March 13 at an official programme organised by the Congress at Koppa, Chikmagalur, in the presence of senior Congress leaders including union minister for foreign affairs S M Krishna.

25-year-old Bhavana, who has done movies in all the four southern state languages, has bagged several awards in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu for her acting skills.

Another Kannada actor, Aadi Lokesh, is also joining Congress along with Bhavana. Lokesh, son of veteran Kannada actor Mysore Lokesh, did negative roles initially, and took lead roles in Kannada movies only recently.

Last week, Rakshitha joined Sriramulu's BSR party. Good to know that now this is the turn of actors to join politics.Coz everybody knows that money can be minted and wealth can be accumulated only in politics at a rapid speed not in other fields. In cinema/screen they have to work hard day and night, whereas in politics at finger points by ordering/dictating more over by sucking the blood of poor/middle class one can amass enough money and wealth.Even I am contemplating to join politics coz I am badly in need of money now.Any party is there to accept me?Hahahaha

Anybody would blindly prefer congress jokers in comparision to karnataka BJP. End of the day a Joker is capable to make someone laugh. Where as state BJP, more or less, performs like movie villan Shakti Kapoor. Shakti is just acting, but in BJP there are real performers like Halappa, Renuka, Reddy and Yeddy.

Actors joining Politics can make an impact if and only if they have put a strong impact in the Society through their roles with film carrier running into several years .Successful actor turned politicians being MGR,NTR ,Jayalalita,Ambareesh to name a few .But these short timed actors I dont think can make an impact .And these days actors are not able to make an impact in the society .They are not Considered as role models .MGR I salute the most because he has shown develpment in TN through selfless service

Praise & worship in public Gandhi family(not Gandiji), you will be offered a seat in Congress. Any word uttered against people like our Amul baby, or so, you will be immediatly shown seat in corner.
Of course, these actors are just celebrities, & will be given seat only in election canvassing, etc. but no powers in administration or party dicission matters. Something just a 'PUPPET SHOW'.

Dinesh Poojari, Dont be such a fool for one party. Be smart and try to understand the reality of politicians. They find it so easy to fool people just like how they fooled you.You spend you whole life in arguing with people and not with the corrupt politicians... ultimately no one come forward and fight against corruption.. and those buggers will live royal life forever.!!!

It does not matter if these glamorous people join congress. They should work hard for the betterment of the people. Well, it is high time for people like Oscar fernandes, Janardana Poojary etc to disjoin from congress immediately as they have been defeated enough number of times for doing nothing. Just remaining a loyal congress person is not enough.

In congress these people will not have any freedom to talk. Actress Ramya honestly praised Narendra Modi and she was blamed & sidelined :-)

Congress is a jokers party. You need to praise Rahul, Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi to survive in the party :-)
