Shriyanshi wins silver at Baoji China Masters

Baoji, May 17: India’s Shriyanshi Valishetty secured the silver medal in the women’s singles category at the Baoji China Masters in China on Sunday.

In the final of the Super 100 tournament held at the Baoji City Gymnasium, Shriyanshi lost to local favourite An Qi Yuan in straight sets, 14-21, 6-21.

Despite the defeat in the summit clash, Shriyanshi’s runner-up finish marked an impressive performance for India at the international badminton event.
