Mangaluru to host 4th Mavericks Summer National Bridge Championship from Jun 4

Mangaluru, May 19: The Karavali Bridge Association will organise the 4th Mavericks Summer National Bridge Championship 2026 from June 4 to 13 at the St Sebastian Centenary Auditorium, Bendur, Mangaluru.

Held under the aegis of the Bridge Federation of India and the Karnataka State Bridge Association, the 10-day championship is regarded as one of India’s premier national bridge events and will feature multiple ranking tournaments along with exciting side events.

Around 450 players from across the world representing various teams are expected to participate in the championship. Several of India’s top bridge players will be seen in action during the event.

Multiple world champion Buras Krzysztof Jerzy, along with a few other international players, will also participate in the tournament, adding global prominence to the event.

The organisers said the championship is expected to draw major attention from bridge enthusiasts and sports lovers alike.
