United Loretto Friends announces new office bearers for 2026–28

Dubai, May 19: United Loretto Friends (ULF) has announced the appointment of its new office bearers for the term 2026-2028.

The office bearers for the 2026–2028 term are as follows: Donald Noronha, Allipade, has been elected as president; Jevita Rodrigues, Surathkal, as secretary; and Gleveena Aranha, Attur, as joint secretary. Roy D’Souza, Loretto, will serve as treasurer, while Sylvia Noronha, Loretto, has been appointed cultural secretary and Vinod Pinto, Loretto, sports secretary.

Preethi D’Souza, Cordel, has been named media coordinator. Gretta Fernandes, Anjelore, and Sachin Noronha, Loretto, will serve as overseas coordinators.

On this occasion, ULF extended its heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing president, Rupesh Pinto, along with the entire outgoing committee, for their commendable leadership and dedicated service over the past two years. Their commitment, vision, and tireless efforts have significantly strengthened the association and expanded its impact within the community.

Formed in November 2019 in the UAE under the motto ‘Unity and Service’, United Loretto Friends stands strong today, rooted in the values of community, culture, and compassion. ULF has made meaningful contributions through various initiatives. The association has organized numerous cultural events to promote Konkani traditions and bring people together, with Konkan Udkana being one of its flagship gatherings. ULF has also actively supported education for the underprivileged, provided medical assistance, contributed to housing support back home, and extended employment and visa assistance to those in need.

ULF looks forward to the continued support of its members and well-wishers as it remains committed to serving society with dedication and upholding its motto, ‘Unity and Service’.
