Udupi, Mar 13: Addressing media persons at Congress Bhavan, here, on Tuesday March 13, Kumara Bangarappa urged the public to cast their valuable votes in favour of Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde.

"Coastal residents are one enlightened lot. The waves in favour of Congress is being clearly seen during the bypolls campaign.  One is born in a caste without a choice; caste based politics is not justified.  The society need not confine to politics that has to be governed by the society.  One is free to vote for a party of his choice," he said.

He further added, "UPA led union government has offered several development projects for the country.  It has advanced Rs 10 crore to state government that is lacking in implementing the projects.  Varahi irrigation project in the district does not come under minor irrigation project. The district has issues related to fisheries, subsidy to fishing boats, UPCL power plant etc." "JDS is engaged in selfish politics.  The state is reeling under selfish and corrupt politicians", said former state minister Kumara Bangarappa.

P V Mohan, Shabbir Ahmed and others were present at the press meet.

The elder brother feels the Congress wave and the younger one feels the JD(S) wave. Ultimately is it the unseen BJP wave? Only time has to tell us.
