Mangaluru: Muhurat of new Konkani movie held at St Lawrence Church, Bola

Mangaluru, May 24: The blessing and inauguration ceremony of a new Konkani movie was held at St Lawrence Church, Bola in Naringana on Friday, May 22.

Parish priest Fr Reginald D'Souza and assistant parish priest Fr Joy Sebastian were present on the occasion. Fr Reginald D'Souza led a special prayer for the project and delivered his blessings. He then officially inaugurated the film by sounding the clapboard.

The movie is being produced under the banner of Fudar Productions. Founder and producer Vijay Ashwin Cardoza, who is also playing the lead role in the film, was present along with co-producer Derick.

Directors and story writers Rolwin, Stany Appos, and Sujith introduced the movie's crew. Several artistes and staff, including members of the technical, art, and direction teams, participated in the event.

Elias D'Souza, vice president of the parish pastoral council, and Joseph Cutinha, president of the Catholic Sabha Bola unit, were present and conveyed their best wishes to the team.

Breakfast was served to all the attendees following the formal programme.
