So nice of you Anand. But I don't want your ticket. I can pay and get the ticket. I have the habit of watching cultural programs by paying for the ticket. Anyways so nice of you for your generosity. But I am sorry.. I can't take your ticket.

Dear Lancy Moras..thanks for your views. If I am not wrong you are the same Lancy of Lancy Moras Nite fame recently in Mangalore. I saw your singing in Daiji TV and just thought wish I could be in Mangalore during your show. I liked all the songs especially the song "Maai thoo makha zaaai". This song brought tears in my eyes. Realised how deep is Mom's love and that day onwards I decided not to make mom unhappy in anyway. Hats off to you. Very good lyrics, nice music and your expressions too good. Wish you can perform in Dubai.

First of all, i congratulate Guru Kiran (my school batchmate)for his awesome upcoming event and wish him Good luck too. Secondly, I Hats off to Ajay and his solid decision. Finally, I urge all the Christians (in particular RC community people) in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who was truly crucified for our SINS, not to attend such kind of function during our Holy Lenten season. Let us unite and show to this world that we are true followeres of our Lord JESUS CHRIST. Let us not forget our SAVIOUR WHO WAS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SONE OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY. Good luck GURUKIRAN.

Sorry Mr. Richard D'Sa...somewhat I do not agree with your comments and thinking. But no hard feelings. Do not worry. You have your own life and the world will not stop you to think in your own way. After all every individual has got his/her own fashions. God bless U.

I wish Gurukiran nite will be a grand success. If someone organizing the show it doesn't matter whether it is lent or ramadan(follow the law of dubai) Being a christian yes it's lent but not others,if I cannot go i don't have to let others to know.Read Mt.6:1-6,16-18.
Why simply we argue and comment on each other, peace be with us always and let's live like a good human being.

    @ Ajay Lobo, Mangalore/Dubai

Your argument sounds invalid. If a christian is owning a movie theater, do you wish him to close down his business in lent season?

I am associated with fashion industry & next week our company organized a Fashion show & I have been assigned to some responsibility in it. How can I escape from it, saying "this is lent season, sorry" to my management?

Hello Ajay Lobo, don't be fanatic yaar. Cool down!
If you want to organise programe in Ramadan, you go back to India, there you dont have restriction. Here when you are in UAE, you must respect the local law.
Now this programme going on in Dubai, local government has no rule for banning the events in Lent. So respect the law. Let others organise the programmem why are you jealous??

Secondly, in 2010 during Ramadan there were several Monti Fest (Nativity) function conducted here in Dubai during RAMADAN, including entertainment programmes. Where were you to comment during that time ??

Thirdly, if anyone died in our house, we will not conduct programme immediatley, but WE WILL NOT CRY WHEN OTHERS' CONDUCT PROGRAMME !!!.
If anyone has died in your house, you do not go for the programme, but others can go!!..it's very simple..

So do not be fanatic. If you want, you buy a ticket and come, if you dont want, just keep quite. This is not India, this is UAE where you earn your bread, and you must respect the law without talking Adhika Prasanga

Sunil, Richard..you guys are in UAE. Why you guys don't eat in public during Ramadhan? You answer me and then only you can comment against my comment. Do you keep the wedding ceremony in a family when there is a death in the family for at least one year? It's not about success or non success of the program. Do they dare to organise show like this during Ramadhan in UAE? I just wrote that due to lent, I can't attend and these guys commenting in such a rude manner.

Ajay Lobo, it does not make any difference for the organisers or artistes if you come or not !!
This event not for any religion or region. This is a general programme. There are thousands of Kannadaigas here in UAE from different parts of Karnataka. I will attend along with my friends and family. I wish all best to the organisers.
