Bhatkal, Mar 14: An unidentified dead body was found in NH 17 Vengtapur, here on Tuesday March 13 at 3 am. The body was found to be wearing a black undergarment. After searching, police found a mobile phone. PSI was given in-charge of the phone and information was given to the house of the deceased.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), M Narayan, Rural Police Sub Inspector (PSI) along with Nisaar Ruknaddin (well known social worker of top emergency help association) immediately rushed to the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Pullik Rangnath Waldeker(28) a resident of Goa. Pullik having psychological problem was also suffering from fits. Police believe that he died of heart attack.
The corpse was kept in government hospital, here. The family members of the deceased came after which body was sent to Goa.
A case has been registered.
