State-level children’s online storytelling contest marks Dr Na D’Souza’s 89th birth anniversary

Mangaluru, May 26: A state-level video storytelling competition for children has been organized on the occasion of the 89th birth anniversary of noted writer Dr Na D’Souza under the theme ‘Ondu Kathe – Ondu Prerane’ (One Story – One Inspiration).

The competition, titled ‘Puttajji Puttajji Kathe Helu’, will be held in two categories — Category A for students from classes 1 to 4 and Category B for students from classes 5 to 8.

Participants are required to submit their storytelling videos on or before May 30. The results of the competition will be announced on June 6.

Winners will receive first, second and third prizes along with certificates. All participants will also be provided with e-certificates.

The competition is being coordinated by the family of Dr Na D’Souza.
