Mangaluru, May 27: Mulki police have arrested two persons in connection with a bike theft case reported under the Mulki police station limits and recovered the stolen motorcycle along with two mobile phones from the accused.

The arrested accused are identified as Mohammed Raziq (36) from Surathkal, and Ubaidath Haider (31) from Baikampady.

According to police, the accused had stolen a Honda Unicorn bike bearing registration number KA 20 EB 6383, which was parked near Apollo Pharma at Mulki Junction on May 18.

Police said the stolen Honda Unicorn bike worth around Rs 20,000 and mobile phones worth approximately Rs 18,000 were recovered from the accused. The accused were produced before the court.

The operation was carried out by the PSI and crime team of Mulki police station.

Police also stated that several cases had previously been registered against the accused.

While cases have been registered against Mohammed Raziq at Surathkal, Panambur and Mulki police stations, Ubaidath Haider faces multiple cases at Panambur police station.
