Anticipatory bail granted to Thimarodi in abuse case involving Yakshagana artiste's mother

Bengaluru, May 28: The high court has approved conditional anticipatory bail for Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi, who is currently facing allegations of verbally abusing the mother of Yakshagana artiste Dinesh Kodapadavu.

Following a thorough hearing of arguments from both counsels, a vacation single-judge bench presided over by justice R Nataraj formally granted the relief.

As part of the stringent bail conditions, the bench has instructed the accused to present himself at the Puttur police station on a weekly basis to sign the register.

Furthermore, he has been strictly directed to extend his complete cooperation to the ongoing police investigation into the matter.
