Kasargod, May 28: A tragic road accident involving a scooter and a bike claimed the life of a young man and left his father seriously injured. The incident took place at Periyadka near Permude on the morning of Thursday, May 28.
The deceased has been identified as N Kishan (24), a resident of Nettaraguli in Bayar, who was riding the scooter. His father, Madhava Devadiga, who was travelling as a pillion rider, sustained grievous injuries in the collision.
According to reports, an oncoming bike collided directly with the scooter being ridden by Kishan. Following the accident, the severely injured father was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced medical treatment.
A case has been registered by the Kumble police, and further investigations are currently underway.
