Mangalore: SJEC Students Karthik, Shreeya Bag Ranks in Engineering

Mangalore, Mar 14: Two students of St Joseph's Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, have done the city proud by bagging ranks in the recently-held examinations of Visvesvaraiah Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.

Kartik Madhyasta secured the second rank in the mechanical engineering stream in the final year examination.

Shreeya Shenoy P, a final year student of the same college bagged the fourth rank in electronics and communication branch.

The eleventh convocation of VTU will be held on the VTU campus on April 8.

As many as 53,636 students from across the state answered the exams, out of which 43,391 passed.
