Beltangady, May 29: The coastal town of Beltangady is set to witness a major industrial milestone as the state-of-the-art Mathrushree Industrial Park will be formally inaugurated by vice president of India, CP Radhakrishnan, on Sunday, May 31, at the Amruthavarshini Sabha Bhavan in Dharmasthala.
The inaugural ceremony is scheduled to commence at 11 am in the distinguished presence of Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, who also serves as president of Sri Dharmasthala Siri Gramodyoga Samsthe (R).



The event is expected to draw an eminent gathering of political leaders, administrators and dignitaries. Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, Dakshina Kannada MP Captain Brijesh Chowta, MLC K. Prathap Simha Nayak, Rajya Sabha secretary Dr K S Somashekhar, Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja, Siri founder and president of the Jnana Vikasa Programme, Dharmasthala, Hemaavathi V Heggade, and SDM Educational Institutions (R), Ujire, vice president D Surendra Kumar will attend as honoured guests.
The Mathrushree Industrial Park, developed in Beltangady in Karnataka’s coastal belt, is being viewed as a significant step towards boosting regional industrial growth and employment opportunities in the area.
Ahead of the programme, Siri managing director KN Janardhana, along with members of the administrative board, directors and staff of Siri at Renkedaguttu in Beltangady, has extended a cordial invitation to the public to participate in the landmark event.
