Mangaluru: Look-out notice issued for missing 23-year-old worker from Mudipu

Mangaluru, May 30: Konaje police have issued a look-out notice seeking information about a 23-year-old man who has been reported missing after leaving his workplace in Mudipu.

According to the complaint filed by Peerappa, his younger brother Suresh was employed in water cleaning work at Sri Shubha Sales Water Supply in Mudipu, Mangaluru. On the evening of May 16, Suresh informed his co-worker Fakirappa that he was leaving for his native place.

The following day, on May 17 at around 11 am, Suresh telephoned and informed that he had reached Vijayapura. However, thereafter his mobile phone was switched off, and he neither returned home nor remained reachable by phone.

Despite extensive searches by family members and relatives, Suresh has not been traced so far. Based on the complaint, Konaje police have registered a missing person case under Konaje Police Station Crime No. 59/2026 and have launched an investigation.

Suresh, son of Bhimaraya Godur, is approximately 5.6 feet tall. He has a dark complexion and a medium build. An identifying feature is a tiger tattoo on his right forearm.

He studied up to class 10 and was wearing a black T-shirt and blue pants at the time of his disappearance. He is known to speak Kannada.

Police have appealed to the public to provide any information regarding the whereabouts of Suresh.
