Media Release

Mangaluru, May 30: A heartfelt farewell and superannuation ceremony was organised for Yamuna, a dedicated non-teaching staff member of St Theresa’s School, on May 29, following the motivational seminar conducted for the teachers. The programme was held in an atmosphere filled with gratitude, joy, and emotion as the school family gathered to honour her years of sincere and faithful service.

The programme commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer service, followed by a warm welcome extended to all gathered for the occasion.

Heartfelt words of appreciation were shared by a teacher and a member of the non-teaching staff, who fondly recalled Yamuna’s dedication, simplicity, friendly nature, and willingness to help everyone with a cheerful smile. They expressed gratitude for her valuable contribution to the school and wished her happiness, good health, and peace in the years ahead.

Yamuna then addressed the gathering with deep emotion. She thanked the Management, Principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, and all those who had supported and encouraged her throughout her years of service in the institution. She expressed her gratitude for the love, respect, and memorable experiences she received at St Theresa’s School, which she fondly described as her second home.

As a mark of honour and appreciation, the management and the school felicitated Yamuna with a shawl, a letter of appreciation from the management, and a token of gratitude in recognition of her dedicated service to the institution. The gathering applauded her commitment and wished her a happy, healthy, and blessed retired life.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, principal, staff members, and everyone who contributed to making the ceremony meaningful and memorable.

The day ended on a joyful note with a special lunch organised for the staff in celebration of the excellent board examination results of the school.

The farewell and superannuation ceremony was truly a touching occasion that reflected the love, respect, and gratitude the St Theresa’s School family holds for Yamuna and her years of selfless service.
