San Francisco, Jun 1: Nvidia has unveiled its first range of personal laptop computers designed specifically to run artificial intelligence (AI) agents, powered by a newly developed version of the company's signature AI chips.
The new laptops are designed to be highly portable, with some models measuring as little as 14 millimetres in thickness and weighing under three pounds.
To bring the devices to market, Nvidia is partnering with major technology manufacturers including Dell Technologies, Lenovo, Microsoft, HP, ASUS and MSI.

At the heart of the new computers is the RTX Spark processor, which Nvidia described as “the most efficient PC chip ever built.” The chip has been developed using the company's graphics processing unit (GPU) technology and is aimed at delivering enhanced performance for AI applications.
According to Nvidia, the new chip will eventually power around 30 laptop models and approximately 10 desktop models from its manufacturing partners.
Mark Aevermann, Senior Director of Product Development at Nvidia, said the devices will primarily target content creators, AI developers and gamers seeking high-performance computing capabilities.
The new systems are expected to be positioned at the premium end of the personal computer market, reflecting their advanced AI-focused hardware and performance features.
The launch marks Nvidia's latest push to expand AI computing beyond data centres and enterprise applications, bringing powerful AI capabilities directly to personal computers.
