New Delhi, Jun 3: Three people were rescued after a fire broke out in the basement of a restaurant in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar area on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The blaze was reported at Lemon Green Restaurant around 8.50 am, prompting a swift response from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).

According to fire officials, multiple firefighting units, including two water tenders, two water bowsers, a quick response vehicle and other emergency teams, were rushed to the spot to contain the fire.
During the rescue operation, fire personnel entered the smoke-filled basement and safely evacuated three individuals who had become trapped inside.
The rescued persons were shifted to a nearby hospital in CATS ambulances for medical treatment. Their condition was not immediately known.
Firefighters worked to bring the situation under control and prevent the flames from spreading to adjoining areas.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Authorities have launched an investigation, and further details are awaited.
