It was disturbing to see Mangalore Lok Sabha M.P Mr.Naleen Kumar Kateel in Kundapur yesterday canvassing for the BJP (pic's in UDAYAVANI dt.17.3.2012).Probably he had forgotten that the Budget Session had started in Parliament.Disgraceful as it may be, he would not have understood anything, anyway. These are uneducated representatives we elect to Indian Parliament!

Mr DVS is an exemplary CM .His Political gesture of visiting the church to begin his election campaign should be taken in a positive stride.Every one should back MR DVS to continue the good job he has been doing, irrespective of the party he belongs to. In recent times he seems to be the only politician from DK/Udupi with some mettle and substance.

Dear friends, The CM may be from one political party but he is the CM of everyone in the state. For a school child, it is a thrill to meet the CM personally. For the teachers and the other elders, it is an honour. Anyway, it is a good sight to see the enthusiastic chidren trying to shake hands with the CM. Regarding the elections, the voters are mature enough to decide whom to elect. Please have a peaceful election and turn out in large numbers. I love to wait for the day when the turn out for this constituency touches 90 .

shahnawaz kukkikatte, dubai/udupi.. If Lok sabha elections are fought on larger issues in the interest of the nation, why congress gave a cheap advertisement in a leading kannada daily -even mentioning the Udupi MLA wife's dealth.. Is it a natinal issue? why half page ad of congress does not mention one single develpmental activity done in more than 50 years of ruling?. Do not find fault in every thing u see in ur daily life.. Try to appriciate some good things also.. Do not take these political parties too much into the personal life !!

We may be sribbling many things here but ultimately people of the constituency to take the decision. There is no doubt that our present CM is a generous and gentleman but it is a question whether BJP candidate should be voted? Definitly not. This is MP election and state politics/local leadership of state ruling party has no relevence here.
In this particular the Congress candidate Sri JP Hegde is also a noble and qualified and experienced person. If he is elected for MP seat it will be a shot in the arm for peeople of the constituency because by all means he will be inducted into the cabinet at the centre. This will be very much benificial to the constituency.
If BJP's Sunil Kumar wins,it will only add one more MP for the BJP and nothing else.It is also a core point that if he is elected whether he will utilise his MP seat for the benifit of the people. There is serious doubt on this point by seeing the record of similar BJP MPs with similar temperments from the state.
So people please do not go by political parties/politicians who are visiting your door steps only during election time, but by your pure choice based on future aspirations.

When ever CM or other political leaders visits Temple,Church,Masjid and mingles with people,it looks nice. There is should not be politics in it.However visit should not be on communal angle.I have seen many times adverse comments by opposite community people on such ooccasions. Its a good thing that there are no adverse comments this time. This shows our CMs popularity.

Unlike any other politicians accompanying him HE IS THE BEST.One good thing he has done to the catholic community after assuming CMs post is that with drawal of all cases against Catholic youths charged in connection with Mangalore church attack in 2008 by Mahendra Kumar group now JDS leader.

Its nice to see our CM visited church.
Anyhow, by looking at crowd, we cannot judge the result. What happened in UP? When Amul Baby visited, all the way there were thousands of people. But he lost the election.
Mr. Ismail is always praising only about congress. Let anyone wins, whats your problem? Let them do thier work honestly for thier Constituency. We need only development not party.

Mingling with common people is a very good habit and Mr.Sadananda Gowda does it with SMILE !!

DVS is no doubt best only after SM Krishna as CM of karnataka. But the voters should take a note that this is Lok Sabha by election in which we have to elect our representative to the parliament and its not an state assembly election. So we need more matured and more sincere representative.. who we find in JPH only and not in immatured and communual Sunil Kumar... Dear Voters you are sending your representative to Delhi and not to Bangalore. so its totally irrelevant to talk about state govts achievement. Please talk about NDAs achievement. Dont try to fool us. No doubt JPH is better choice. When we talk about assembly election we shall talk about the state govts achievement and failures. Lets talk about UPA vs NDA, their achievements and failures.. Thats need of the hour and more relevant and more appropriate... Lost and defeated MLA candidate cant be a match for independtly winning horse JPH. The prospects of wining this election by JPH is more based on his persoal profile/qualities. Whatever we have seen the developments in and around Udupi is the gift of central govt. BJP spent their time in infighting, looting mineral wealth, visiting mutts, organising samajotsavas, attacking churches, beating girls in pubs, demarking lands and practicing double standards... Please vote for JPH and JPH is the messiah and messenger of the poor and aam aadmi.....Jai Ho JPH. I dont vote for congress, I dont vote for BJP, but I surely vote for JPHegde.....Absolute winner

Good gesture by the chief minister. Good work for the party too. Anyway it will be easy for BJP to win the elections. There is no one canidate in congress whom the people will vote. People will reject congress till congress rejects the useless leaders like Osacar and J Poojary.
