Kundapur, Jun 3: A bike rider tragically lost his life in a severe road accident following a collision between his two-wheeler and a jeep at the main circle in Thekatte on National Highway 66 on Tuesday, June 2 night.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh, a resident of Koti Poojary's house located near the Manoor Jattigeshwara Daivasthana.
The fatal incident reportedly took place at around 9:47 pm. The entire sequence of the horrific crash was caught on a CCTV camera installed at the prominent highway junction.
Personnel from the Kota police station rushed to the spot, conducted a thorough inspection, and registered a case in connection with the accident.
