Mangaluru: Yenepoya Deemed to be University observes World Environment Day

Mangaluru, Jun 5: Yenepoya Nursing College Eco Club, Institution Innovation Committee and Department of Community Health Nursing and Centre for Environmental Studies, Yenepoya Deemed to be University observed world Environment Day with the theme green fair millets and organic exhibition on June 4 at Yenepoya Deemed to be University Deralakatte campus premises. All types of millets were displayed by two organic food products companies.

Radhakrishna Nitya, product proprietor, explained to the participants regarding the varieties of millets and products. Another proprietor from Gramarajya Products, Sudarshan spoke on the health benefits of millets.

The programme was coordinated by Dr Nithyashree and Dr Benazeera. Participants gave a positive feedback on the programme.
