12 injured in Kundapur-bound bus accident near Kunigal bypass

Kunigal, Jun 7: Twelve passengers were injured after a Sri Durgamba bus met with an accident near the Kunigal bypass on Sunday.

According to available information, the bus was heading to Kundapur from Bengaluru.

All 12 injured passengers were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Of them, 10 are currently undergoing treatment at Manasvi Hospital near the Kunigal bypass.

One of the injured passengers sustained a serious head injury, while another suffered a hip bone fracture. However, the condition of all 10 patients admitted to Manasvi Hospital is reported to be stable and out of danger.

The remaining two injured passengers, whose conditions were considered more serious, were shifted to another hospital for advanced medical care. They are currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU). One of the critically injured patients is reported to be a woman, and further details about her condition are awaited.
