Mangaluru, Jun 10: Roopesh Shetty, one of the most successful actors and directors of the Kannada coastal region, is all set to be a part of another big-budget Kannada film.

He will be starring in the movie 'Halka Don', produced by K P Srikanth — the acclaimed producer behind massive hits like Tagaru and Salaga — under the banner of Venus Entertainers.

Directed by Chala, the entire team is geared up to create a major buzz in the Kannada film industry once again. 'Halka Don' is being simultaneously produced in both Kannada and Telugu.

Roopesh, who rose to stardom following his massive success across Kannada, Tulu, and Tamil cinema, joining the cast of 'Halka Don' has sparked immense excitement among his fans.

Earlier, the film's grand Muhurat witnessed a stellar gathering from the Kannada film industry, including Shivarajkumar and Geetha, Sudeep, producer Shailaja Nag, Duniya Vijay, Rachita Ram, Vinay Rajkumar, and director R Chandru.
