Alleged objectionable remarks against Bunt, Billawa communities: Woman arrested in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Jun 12: Barke police have arrested Anita Kasaragodu in Bengaluru for allegedly making objectionable remarks against the Bunt and Billawa communities on social media.

The accused was produced before a court, which remanded her to judicial custody till June 25.

A complaint against Anita had been lodged at the Barke police station by Rakesh Poojary of the Biruver Kudla organisation.

According to police sources, Anita Kasaragodu was traced to her sister's residence in Bengaluru, where she was arrested.
