Bantwal, Jun 13: Two night beat personnel on patrol helped save the life of a man who suddenly fell ill at his residence in Goodinabail near B C Road.

Ashraf developed severe chest pain and stomach pain late at night. As the situation turned critical, family members raised an alarm seeking help. The cries for assistance caught the attention of the night patrol team, who immediately rushed to the spot.

Ashraf had suffered a minor heart attack. The beat personnel provided first aid and promptly assisted in shifting him to a hospital for further treatment.

The timely presence of mind and swift response of Bantwal Town police station constable Vinod and Home Guards personnel Jayaganesh have drawn widespread appreciation from the public.
