IPSLM hosts guest lecture on skill development and career readiness

Mangaluru, Jun 16: The Institute of Port Shipping and Logistics Management (IPSLM), Srinivas University, organized a guest talk on the topic 'Beyond the Classroom: Building Skills for Life, Career & Society'.

The resource person, Gururaj P, assistant professor, department of commerce, PA First Grade College, highlighted the importance of life skills, communication, leadership, teamwork, and professional competencies in shaping successful careers. He encouraged students to actively participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance their personal and professional growth.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean, IPSLM, and Prof Souparnika, head of the department, IPSLM. The event was coordinated by Prof Akshatha S and Prof Pavithra Puthran on behalf of the management forum.

Students and faculty members participated enthusiastically in the interactive session, which provided valuable insights into personal and professional development.
