Udupi, Jun 16: On the occasion of World Environment Day, students of Madhava Kripa School enthusiastically participated in a seed ball making activity organized as part of the school's club activities on the campus.
The program was conducted with the objective of creating awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging students to contribute towards increasing green cover. Teacher Navya Shetty and teacher Sujatha Shetty guided the students through the activity, demonstrating the process of preparing seed balls using soil, compost, and seeds.



During the session, the teachers explained the step-by-step method of making seed balls and highlighted their role in promoting afforestation and restoring greenery in barren and degraded areas. They also emphasized the importance of sustainable environmental practices and the need for collective efforts to protect nature.
Students actively participated in preparing the seed balls and gained hands-on experience in an eco-friendly initiative. The activity not only enhanced their understanding of environmental conservation but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards preserving the natural ecosystem.
The programme proved to be both educational and enjoyable, making World Environment Day a meaningful and memorable learning experience for all the participants.
