Mangaluru, Jun 16: In a proud moment for Karnataka’s sporting community, Dikshith Amin, a student of Presidency PU College, Mangaluru, and a talented basketball player, has earned a place in the Indian school boys under-18 basketball team selected by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). He will represent India at the World School Boys Basketball Championship scheduled to be held in Zlatibor, Serbia, from June 13 to 23.
What makes this achievement even more special is that Dikshith Amin is the only player from Karnataka to be selected for the national team. His selection stands as a testament to his exceptional talent, hard work and dedication to the sport.
