Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held at Yenepoya World School

Mangaluru, Jun 18: Yenepoya World School, in collaboration with Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, State Bank of India, and The Indian Red Cross Society, successfully organised a blood donation camp that drew remarkable participation from across the city. The event was inaugurated by Krishna Mohan Murchala, deputy general manager, State Bank of India, who served as the chief guest.

Distinguished guests included Vinayak Shenoy, regional manager (RB O1 Mangaluru), Anthony Joseph, associate director of The Yenepoya School and Yenepoya World School, and Uzwal Menezes, principal of The Yenepoya School and PU College.

The camp witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with donors from all over Mangaluru joining hands to support the noble cause. Parents, students, staff members of Yenepoya Institutions and employees of the State Bank of India were among the many familiar faces among others who contributed underscoring the spirit of solidarity and compassion.

This initiative not only strengthened institutional partnerships but also highlighted the importance of community engagement in saving lives. The organisers expressed gratitude to all donors and partners for making the camp a resounding success.
