Udupi, Jun 20: Glowinstar Integrated Schools inaugurated the extracurricular club activities on June 19. The chief guest for the programme was Nanditha, an alumna of Glowinstar Integrated School and a distinguished Bharatanatyam artist.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by the teachers, followed by the lighting of the lamp. A grade 9 student, Thanvitha, presented a classical dance performance, setting a graceful tone for the event.
The welcome speech was delivered by headmistress Neethew Fernandes. During the ceremony, the extracurricular club instructors were formally welcomed. The instructors included Rohit (Drawing and Painting), Bhagyalakshmi (Bharatanatyam), Jasmine (School Band), and Rohith, the Karate instructor. Their presence added significance to the inauguration ceremony.















The chief guest addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of art forms such as dance. She also emphasized the role of extracurricular activities in the overall development of students by nurturing their creativity, confidence, discipline, and talents.
The principal, Dr T J Quadros encouraged students to participate actively in various club activities and make the best use of the opportunities provided to develop their skills and leadership qualities.
Sumana concluded the programme with a vote of thanks. The event marked a successful beginning to the extracurricular club activities for the academic year and inspired students to explore their interests beyond academics.
