Mangaluru, Jun 20: Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies organized a photography competition on “Professionalism Through the Lenson” June 16, at the Aviation campus in Hampankatta, Mangaluru. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from 19 undergraduate students belonging to BBA Aviation Management and BBA Aviation and Logistics Management.
The competition was conducted in connection with the professional personality walk competition, where participants captured photographs highlighting professionalism, confidence, personality, and presentation skills displayed during the event.
The primary objective of the competition was to inspire students to explore, observe, and creatively capture the world of aviation and its associated dimensions through photography.
The event provided a platform for participants to experiment with various photography techniques and present their unique perspectives. Students actively participated in the competition and showcased their creativity by capturing meaningful images that reflected professional values and real-life experiences. The competition helped enhance participants’ confidence, artistic skills, and understanding of photography as a powerful medium of communication.





The winners of the competition were Suraksha from final year BBA Aviation Management, who secured the first prize, and Afan M from second year BBA Aviation Management, who secured the second prize.
The event was successfully conducted under the guidance and support of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, along with the SWO, HODs, faculty members, student coordinators, volunteers, and staff members of the Institute of Aviation Studies.
The competition provided students with a valuable opportunity to enhance their creativity, professionalism, and appreciation of aviation through the art of photography.
