Doha, Jun 21: The 33rd annual general meeting (AGM) of Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar was held at the ICC Mumbai Hall on June 19. The event was compered by Westrin Joyline Lasrado.

The programme commenced with a prayer led by joint secretary Preema Frank, invoking blessings for the successful conduct of the event. President Denzil Christine Lobo, along with the executive committee members, was then invited to the stage.

General secretary Renzil Jaison D’Souza presented the annual report for the year 2025–26, highlighting the various activities, programmes, and achievements of MCC during the term. This was followed by the annual financial report presented by treasurer Joachim D’Souza. Both the annual report and financial report were unanimously approved by the members.

In his presidential address, Denzil Christine Lobo expressed his sincere gratitude to the executive committee, advisors, members, and generous donors for their valuable support and contribution towards the successful execution of various programmes in the previous years.

He also shared details of the upcoming activities planned by MCC, including the Annual Talent Competition, Monthly Fest, Carrom and Ludo Tournament, MCC Throwball League (MTL), Children’s Christmas Party, Annual Day celebrations, and other community initiatives. He requested continued support and participation from all members to make these programs successful.

A group photo session was conducted with the executive committee members, advisors, and attendees as a memorable moment of the AGM.

The event continued with a Konkani comedy skit presented by Amith Mathias and Savious Crasta, which entertained the audience. Spot games conducted by MC Westrin added more excitement to the evening, and winners were awarded prizes.

MCC Qatar executive committee has taken this opportunity to extend heartfelt gratitude to all members and supporters who contributed to making the 33rd annual general meeting a memorable and successful event.
