Udupi: Mount Rosary celebrates International Yoga Day

Udupi, Jun 23: As part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, Mount Rosary School organized a special yoga programme featuring demonstrations of various yoga asanas by students.

The event, held in the school’s open courtyard, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. As part of the 'Yoga for Good Health' series, students Shruthika, Preksha, Vaishnavi, and Aaron demonstrated simple yoga asanas that can be easily practiced by students and explained their health benefits.

Students Rithvi and Faith spoke on the significance of yoga and emphasized its role in promoting physical and mental well-being.

Addressing the gathering, headmistress Sr Ancilla encouraged students to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives to lead a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.

Physical education teachers Anita and Anand coordinated and assisted in organizing the programme.
